how do u polarize

my 1960 f cub has not been polarized .i know there was a post about this some where but i cant seem to find it . i know its easy just dont know how!!!!!! :oops:

If it is charging, it doesn't need polarizing. To polarize, with the engine stopped, briefly touch a jumper form the bat to the gen term of the regualtor. a samll spark is normal.
