Woods Mower 59"

Postby Tucker » Sat Feb 18, 2006 11:23 pm

I am getting ready to repaint my woods belly mower.
I know some of you on here have redone your woods mower.
Did you get the stickers from your woods dealer?
What is the color code for the paint? Or did you just get it from the dealer?

Thanks.

Ralph will be the best to answer this because just did a great job on his. But I do know that C&G has the decals and paint.

They do have a pretty extensive dealer network, so you may want to search for a dealer on their site too. http://www.woodsequipment.com/

Looks like the decals are $40 Click the OEM link:

You should be aware that the old-style lettering decals are not available from Wood's. Just the newer style are available.

Yep Scotty, I knew that. I was in there the other week to fetch a muffler for A friends Ford 4000. I asked about the front wheels for my 59 and the guy was great, he said to make em.

We have a JD dealer down here that shows as a Woods dealer, also one in Westport. That's why I said they have a pretty good dealer network.

It is starting to look good for the 50 to be mowing this summer. Just need to figure out how Ralph cleaned up the underside of that mower, it looks like brand new! He really did a great job on that Lo Boy!

Woods only offers the "new" style decal sets. This was done to be in complience (sp?) of the current ASAE standards for safety decals.

Sheesh. When I bought a new Woods for my old Cub I thought the color didn't go with the tractor very well, so I painted it before I even used it. I went right over the decals, too. It's a little dusty in this pic...the belt guards are the same color silver as the wheels. Image
