Trying to get my garden disked today before the rain rolls in. About a third of the way done when I heard a pop and saw steam pouring out from under the hood and an odd noise as it ran. I turned it off and towed it to the shop. After taking the hood of I saw what I was expecting to see. Time to move the disk to another Cub until I have time to fix this.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Glad I started adding fast hitches to some of my Cubs.
It's strange, but every cracked head l've ever heard of was through or near #3. On my original had a crack that had been braized right through the #3 spark plug hole. Eventually the crack reappeared through the braize so l replaced the head 40 yrs ago. The #3 plug always seems to be the 1st to foul too. Or is it just me?
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.
