Governor Weight Pins
Has anyone found a source for the weight pins for a later style "63" gov? The pins I found cost more than I can buy the weight assembly from Hamilton Bobs. I plan on going that route but just wanted know if any one had any experience with it. The hole in the weights are perfect but one of the pins has a lot of wear.

Re: Governor Weight Pins
Is it possible to use a high speed drill bit ground down to the correct length (the shank obviously!!) Numbered drill bits have the tightest diamensions.
I’ve seen this before in fuel pump drive pins and it works quite well….

Re: Governor Weight Pins
Adding a cotter pin hole to a drill bit would be a challenge. By the way, you can buy drill blanks, no flutes or cutting tip.

Re: Governor Weight Pins
if you google the part number you will probibly find some used on for sale for the parts dealers. and or look on ebay for a it or a used cheap governor.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!
