I'm getting close to giving my 47 cub the finishing touch. Has anyone used dupont's 7410 red, as this is what it suggests on the paint chart for pre 49 cubs. I went to the local dupont dealer but he could not give me a sample chip of what that color would look like. At $60 a litre it would be nice to see what the color would look like before I get it mixed! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for now,
Bob

Bob:
I have not seen the Dupont #7410 code before. The Harvester-50 Red would probably be correct and the corresponding Dupont #70019 Paint Code which is for pre 1949 Farmall's. Jim Becker would know how many or what the SN break was for the other mixes... but at $60.00US a gallon, I would probably stick with the newer CaseIH #2150/Dupont #71310 mix.
You can check that out at Farmall Paint Chart on the Cub Manual Server.
Hope this helps...
Oh as Brian pointed out the Nason is pretty darn good....
