New to the farmall cub life

So hi there im definitely new to all this i actually just got my cub a few weeks back as a gift from my great aunt when her husband passed away and ive been working to restore it ive gotten the thing to start after a few quick trips to ebay and napa as anyone does. Once started everything ran great hydraulics worked almost instantly no idling issues or anything. Mind you i did completely redo the spark plugs new ignition coil cleaned out the carb which let me tell you the videos i watched made me so scared to do because of how easy one of the jets is to break and now im planning to restore it as best i can and im curious i know the original display/early production models where white later changed to red im curious if anyone ever does theres im another color?

Please excuse my horrible spelling and poor knowledge im 19 never worked on anything but changing oil with my dad before this and my only experience in repairing anything like this was during a year of auto body repair courses learning the bare minimum. So any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated

The corn plows i believe is what my grandfather said not 100% sure thats accurate as he is old and his memory is failing him.
A portable log cutter i believe has a blade that reminds me of a sawmill but runs vertical perpendicular to the way the slider moves the logs.

Actually the were red first and later they were yellow and white. There were a few all white ones in early 1950 to be used as demonstrators.

Did you prime the oil pump. Be sure you have oil pressure before running it long. That motor can destroy itself very quickly.

Hi yes i actually did prime the oil pump had it running after its first start in 15 years saw no oil pressure and immediately went and primed it after i saw how online. Surprisingly easy process and i changed the oil and the filter i used 10w-30 as thats what i saw i hope thats right.

And thanks i was asking because i was trying to decide whether i should go red like the standard color or go for something more unique i had thought about doing it in blue with a sparkle powder and a shiny clearcoat

Enjoy your cub, and you have found the right place to find out anything about it. The oil you used will be fine. If it's an early cub I would paint it back red. But it's yours, you can paint it any color you like to. Good luck with it. If you can post us some pictures.

For sure im excited we actually put it to the test today and pulled a hay rake with it from our field it was stuck in the grass pretty good but the cub didn't even know it was behind it.

Still deciding on the paint its technically my dads but hes been letting me work on it by myself to keep me busy so hoping he gives me the freedom to do what i like
Does anyone know if the mufflers make a difference on these things btw my exhaust runs down the side and ends right near my rear wheels

That fact probably makes it a '55 or later tractor.

The pictures have to be really, really small. Like early 00s file size. I think it's like 100kb or something. You have to reduce them and keep reducing them.
