Let me first express my sympathy to you and your family at your loss.
Seeing that you’re looking for pricing help, different regions of the country will yield a variety of values. Here in Missouri, that setup would yield around $400-$500 at an estate sale or on Craigslist. If you’re looking for a good starting place, check local Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or local listings for similar tractors.
Jim is the most knowledgeable person I know about Cubs (and all things tractors) and a valued resource here on the forum. He will steer you correctly.
I’d agree to waiting until late Winter or Spring of ‘23 before selling (more demand) and getting a good inventory of what you have to sell.

Jim Becker wrote:I believe this tractor was originally used by a local monastery or (more likely) the adjacent college to clear snow. It either had a snow plow or a front mounted broom. (I know the owner has/had a broom, and think it came with this tractor.)
The way I read the other post, the broom was on this Loboy at one time when the college owned it. Andy bought the broom from the college separate and then bought the tractor about a year later from the guy who had bought it four years earlier. Since he had the broom for some years first, he may have it mounted on one of his other Cubs.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

He had not mounted the broom on any other tractor before he got the Lo-Boy. I don't think he ever mounted it on anything.

I think the cab alone is 300-500. It looks professionally made. I have seen broom setups on 130-140 that use a second hydraulic pump. If this cub has it that would also make it interesting.
In my mind this is not a run of the mill not running cub $300-$500. It has some history and unique features.

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

I don't know what to think of the cab, whether a manufactured unit or something shop made. It has at least somewhat of a professional look. There weren't a lot of cabs built for Cubs. Maybe they started with a cab for something else and adapted it to the Cub. The "heater", what remains of it, has a home-made look. Either way, the cab is an interesting addition.
I still don't know if the broom is there, but guess so. I don't think it has been mounted to anything since it left the monastery. So parts of it could be lost. I also recall from years ago that the brushes are badly in need of replacement, which will cost enough to make a grown man faint. I believe the broom is driven by a shaft that is powered by the tractor PTO.

that cab looks similar to the old ma-50 tugs with removable cabs used at the airports.google old ma-50 tug tractor for picture

Re: My Late Husband tractors (needing advise)
Yes, I have the broom that was with tractor. It is at my parent's house. I currently have an offer on this tractor, that came in after I posted this message.
A big THANK YOU to Jim Becker for coming up and helping me further.
Once the weather warms up, I will be looking at what else I have. I know I have three more tractors to sell that where all stored outside, a manure spreader, and implements. I am keeping two tractors and the implements for those but will be looking for more assistance in the spring as I try to rehome the Cubs in the yard.
I want to thank everyone for your help!
