I have a 49 and I am wanting to find a plow, disk and front blade. I want to look locally first. Newspaper ad, factory bulletin boards, ect...... What I don't want is to look like I don't know what I'm talking about ! So , for a "49" cub with a no hydralics, just a drawbar, manual lever which raises my mower what do I ask for?

Mike,
All you need is the plow itself and a depth lever. Make sure any plow you consider has the depth lever and the "dog bone" to connect it to your reversed drawbar.
Your drawbar will be installed pointing forward and the plow bolted to it. The lifting chain will attach to the rear point which is part of your manual lever.

Mike, unless your mower came with it's own lift lever, you have the universal lift (manual) The same implements will work with it that work with the hydraulic lift.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Take a look at the illustrations in this brochure on the manual server. Particularly look at page 16 which shows the lifting parts Bigdog described.

400lbsonacubseatspring, maybe someday I could get a hydralic system. One more question, I've already got a reply on the ad . Does it make any difference if tractor was a Hi-boy or just regular Cub ? I'm assuming that they fit all Cubs.
