Hate to rain on your parade, not to say that a tiller is impossible, but I will say, not very realistic!

Not only will you need to find the tiller (almost like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, almost!), but you will also need the extra gearbox that goes between the trans and final drive. (That gearbox will seem like it costs like a pot of gold if you find one for sale!)

They (tillers) are out there, I saw pics of them!

Good luck with your tractor and your search!

Thank you for the information!

Just be aware that attachments for a FCub and a IH Cub LoBoy are generally not interchangable without the special brackets, etc. for mounting on each tractor. You can learn a lot about these tractors by attending a Cubfest. There's a good one in Bogolusa, LA, usually held in March. :hattip:

For the rototiller, you might want to look into self-powered tow-behind style.

Thank you, sir! I’m beginning to figure this out. My woods mower is a 42 cl-5, I think. Only made for IH Farmall cub lo-boy. I need to sharpen the blades on it. Any resources for that?

Check the Quick Links tab at the top left corner of this page and you should find an Owners Manual for your mower.

Thank you, Don! I see carburetors for $400 and some for $37. I’m more inclined to buy the $37 one.

The $400 and $37 carburetors are not comparable, obviously. The $37 one is what I referred to above. Although, if you shop around on eBay, you can get it for less.

400 hundred dollars  sarcasm right? I bought the import special for way less.
