What to appreciate about farmall IH tractors.

Last summer I pick up a Terramite T-6 4WD backhoe. US made small backhoe like a b series Kubota. It is well made and in very good shape for 20+ year old backhoe but I think it will be a challenge to keep running. The info on these machines is not very good especially when you look at the documentation we have access to on our tractors.

We all should appreciate the detailed parts book, service manuals, accurate serial number info on changes, many solid vendors for new and used parts, and of course the knowledgeable members on farmallcub.com.

I think the long life of these tractors is in no small part related to this excellent documentation that allows us to keep them running.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!
