Hydraulic angle for snowplow installation

Postby J3 Driver » Sun Jan 16, 2022 5:21 pm

On the cub Facebook group I had a lot of questions on how I did this. So I thought I’d share here too. This video also goes over how the windbreaker mounts as well.

I did not think you could put one of the Hydraulic bypass blocks on with an underslung exhaust! I was going to look at converting one of my machines to vertical exhaust to put the power angle on, but this looks like it will eliminate that issue for me.

See if you can find a 1000 loader exhaust bracket. Otherwise you’ll have to heat and bend the exhaust a little. I had forgotten we did that Hayward ago.

It looks like TM doesn't have it listed on the website anymore, I will have to call Ron and see if he has any left. I'm not enough of a metal man to make one.
I suppose I need to get this tractor running before I worry about setting it up for a power angle blade

Great looking machine there Keith! I'm curious, how do you get up onto the Cub with the heat houser on it? Do you have to enter from the rear?

Yes. You have to climb in over the back. Not the easiest thing to do but worth it to be warm. It makes the hydraulic angle so much nicer to have.

I'm getting ready to put the hydraulic power angle conversion to my plow, what valve did you use?

I used a Danfoss 1500-BG valve. It has a built in pressure relief set at 1500 PSI so if you overload it it won’t hurt the hydraulic pump in the cub.
