John *.?-!.* - your Cub seat....

Postby SundaySailor » Mon Jan 16, 2006 9:47 am

John,

I saw one of the site's pop-up's photos that shows members Cubs here. You had an interesting seat on your Cub. Could you re-post that photo or another? I like the seat, and was wondering what you did to get one and get it mounted.

Thanks,

SS

This is the only picture I have of it. it is a Grizzly seat form Tractor Supply. I put it on the cub to use when i was having back problems, but took it off again and sold it when my back got better. For the uneven ground around here I like tha pan seat better, the arm rests make it difficult to sit vertical when the tractor is leaning to the side in a plow furrow, etc.. I just had to drill some different holes in the bottom to bolt it to the pedestal I did use a couple of pieces of light angle iron to reinforce it.

John, your picture prompts another question. What is the horizontal line in the picture just above the tail light?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

That is the extension pipe for a grease gun that is bracketed to the fender.

I thought I'd seen that seat before, but just couldn't place it. Looks to be rather comfy even if it does mess with the upright plane of the body during plowing.
