1955 Cub with Cole Sidedresser
I picked up this Cub the other day with a Cole Sidedresser, You don't see these Sidedresser often.

One more Cub with a scarce fertilizer hopper. Could you get a picture of the drive gear on the sprocket? Diameter also. Missing mine and wondered if an IH drive gear would work.

I don't see how those chisel points on the cultivators can get all the grass out? Seems like spots would be missed

A friend of mine gave me one just like that for a 140 last year.
Also had one with a metal hopper for a Cub and sold it, sold the Cub too

There is definitely a IH planter drve gear on it.
I'll find out how many tooth it is.

That is good news! Those are pricey but better than tracking down something out of the ordinary

If your ground was prepared well, by the time you are laying by with fertilizer, there shouldn't be a lot of weeds/grass. You would not run with much ground speed laying by, throwing dirt towards the row and incorporating the fertilizer. Later, some time after laying by, you most likely would run through the rows again, this time with some speed and throw more dirt.
