Always made me wonder when people would say they were cultivating squash or pumpkins. Maybe at first but once the canopy develops it is all over for weeds. We plant vine fruits on hills. Would be interesting to see something of that sort for the folks who plant in rows.

I used to have some that were homemade----never used them myself.
