I'm restoring my 47 Cub I've had it running on several occasions, did the points and the plugs, they are set properly, it fired up good on impulse, ran very freely for about an hour the first time it had been running for 7 years, now it won't start, been left for a week, all it does is fire on every plug on impulse but won't run.
Any suggestions, please.!!!!!!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Try it with full choke. Many times you stir up all the little stuff and rust and it does a number on the screens and jet in the carb. When people tell me a carb is clean I pull the jet and let some run through a clean white rag or coffee filter. After that is running clean I take a piece of telephone inside wire and poke it through the jet and pull a little something out. Ice in a carb if in the right olace can make it seem the same. I know that is not the problem in your part of the world but us mere mortals have that problem from time to time.
