Generator wiring

Postby Soldner » Fri Jan 06, 2006 7:16 pm

I'm wondering, if anyone has a quick diagram for the wiring from the harness to a generator for a 49 fcub? It has the regulator, and i got the generator back from the shop, and i dont have anything to see how it is wired back to the tractor. Thanks.

Well, i'm now very confused... The first wiring diagram looks like my cub, except for the regulator. I had the generator rebuilt, and the regulator has the three prongs on one side... So which diagram should i use? I have everything wired up like the cutout diagram.....

soldner - the first diagram also shows a cub with a magneto type ignition. The second has battery ignition. Do you have a mag?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
