Picture shows the set-up. Mounting is on my C3 mower pulley cross member. Only modification needed was to weld to the cross member a piece of U channel with two holes in it. Belt tension is held with a C-clamp. Uses the C3 mower PTO pulley. Don't recall the pulley diameter on the generator. Can mow with the C3 with the generator mounted with no problem but can be removed in 2 minutes if need be. Has one 220V outlet and two 110V outlets. Have used it for house power, remote lighting of Xmas lights and for power tools where power is unavailable.

Now that is a great attachment!

Looks like the pulley bracket is the same as my C-2 mower.... now if I could just get the low down on finding a generator like that I could justify Cub #2 a little better.

I bought the generator years ago from W.W. Grainger. The following is the link to the belt-driven generators they have now. They look different, but as long as the rotatation's OK, the 3 or 5 KW would work...

If the rotation is different you could always mount the generator 'back-wards'

I looked at a few of those on the Grainger wedsite, and they appear that they can rotate either way.

Unless I'm missing something, there's no place to fit the body of the generator if rotation is wrong.
