My wife called me a Tractor Nerd the other day. I’m not sure if I should be proud or insulted!! Does anybody besides me have a wish list for tractors?? If so what ones??
I’d still like to get as follows....
Farmall F series,
Farmall Super A
McCormick Deering 10-20
John Deere Unstyled A
BF Avery V
Maybe I am a Tractor Nerd after all......

Re: Tractor Nerd?? / Wish List
I wish I could but Finances don't allow me to even contemplate a wish list. Time really doesn't either!
I have a diesel Yanmar I still have not more than pulled the valve cover off of. It is a cool tractor. Not sure when I will ever tear into it?

I wish! But that’s all it is at this point in time.... no room in the Inn and the Cub is eating my extra cash for now.

I have same wish list. I just don't live in Michigan. I'll just stop whining to myself. Michigan without shelter Brrrrr!Waif wrote:Spotted another Cub reasonable recently....

The weather temp ain't as bad as tearing something apart ,then having an Easter egg hunt the next day under snow ,or a neighbors cat frolicking around a pile of parts .
Tools need put away during breaks in work.
Might need to plow snow if enough comes down.
My worn out dirt floor tarp shed fits one Cub.
A covered work bench and floor to be able to keep stuff secure. Concrete to roll around on. Ahhh.
Had a custom polebarn once . With a vertical barrel woodstove I built for it.
An ex owns it now.
Winter projects were welcomed. And stuff could be thawed out. (Self included . ) And coffee kept hot.
I'll measure again but it will be tight to get much more than twenty feet wide in my side yard. It's the most likely site after deliberation.
Don't want to give up the view , or what passes for a lawn there. But it's getting to be time.
For storage of outdoor stuff. Then a workshop.(!)

Re: Tractor Nerd?? / Wish List
I am two for two. Two houses have I bought in Michigan. Two houses bought had no garage. Two winters I weathered without garage. Two garages I have built. (well, the first was technically a pole barn)
Clearly I didn't learn my lesson the first time. No more houses I shall buy without a garage.
