Sea Foam & Merry Christmas.

Postby Soldner » Mon Dec 19, 2005 1:33 pm

I just read about sea foam, and i was wondering what else do you guys use it for.. I used it in my oil for my car, and its helped alot. Is there other ways it can be used? Thanks.

I would also just like to take this time, to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. I hope your lives are filled with joy and happiness this season. And I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.. I'm sorry if i have offended anyone, but it seems these days everyone wants to go to Happy Holidays, and a Holiday Tree but i was raised on Merry Christmas, and Christmas Trees.. So i apoligize in advance. Merry Christmas to you all. Well i'm off to my final in Cartography..

Hope you too have a Very Merry Christmas as well as everyone on the forum!! :D
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

I had seen to forms about seafoam. So I was ready for an oil change. so I bought my oil I ask the clerk at Adance about Seafoam he said its GREAT :D :D . I have 122k+ miles on my truck. noticed that the oil pressure has been low :( :( . After 95 miles on the oil change I noticed that the pressure was starting to stay where it used too   . I'm convensed about this product. Like BD said look at the web site.

Soldner...Seafoam used in your oil helps cut through built up sludge that may be sticking to your internal engine parts. In the gas...it cuts through built up carbon deposits on valves and plugs. I've been using Seafoam in my Yamaha boat engine for over 8 years now, and in EVERY tractor and lawn mower engine...even the HOT ROD! 8) It's GREAT STUFF!

It's MERRY CHRISTMAS and may you and your family(and EVERYONE here on the Board) enjoy all God's Blessings for the New Year!

Seafoam is great stuff, I used to have car used primarly for driving to work, that started knocking in the top of the engine like a stuck valve. It just got worse and worse, i ran seafoam both in the oil and gas and within 2 weeks the knock had gone away and the motor seemed to be gaining power. I ran it in the car till i sold it a few months back, i'd probably still have the car if i had ran seafoam sooner. Also gained a little gas milage.

I run it in my cub, it seems to keep the muffler cleaner, i don't get those little carbon balls on my gastank when i rev the engine up from a idle anymore. Just the rust balls, but that cause i need a new muffler... :D

I use SF in my '48. When I got it, it would idle rough and at times under power need slight choke. Well, with time short for a rebuild, I put SF in the gas and almost instantly, idle was smooth and no choke needed at all. I still use it in every tank and now run it in my snowmobiles, tractor, etc...
