Are cub front wheel bolts painted or plated originally
Cripes - I thought I'd never get one.

All that I have seen were originally painted. By the time I get the machine they are aged rusty steel.
I have an excuse. CRS.

They were originally painted. Mine are original and still have some paint on them.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over. :?:

I'm not sure, it may depend on the year. These photos of early Cubs from the Wisconsin Historical Society looks like the rear bolts may have been painted but fronts were not.
