Finally got the front axle ready to rebuild. The French Farmer bodged track-rod can be seen at top centre together with the M10 bolts that had been used as steering arm pinch bolts! Note the new, correct size, stainless pinch bolts for steering arms and also track-rod pinch bolts. I made a new track rod out of 1/2” bar and straightened the rest of the track-rod sections which were quite bent.
