Hydraulic Touch Control

Hi Guys,
I'm sure this is an"Old Hat" subject, but, the piston in my hydraulic control is stuck in the cylinder. I was able to remove the actuator rod.
Any suggestions about the removal procedure? I'm thinking something like a press?

just has orings holding it in and binding it up, use a board on the end and hit it with a hammer

I kind of thought it might be the "O"rings. Just needed to hear that from someone who knows.

I was able to remove that pesky piston yesterday. I just had to get forceful.
