Underslung Exhaust Detail
Does anybody know what angle an underslung exhaust pipe should be flared to to mate with the angle on 90 degree elbow from the exhaust manifold? Maybe all flares like this are at a "standard" angle? Also, is this pipe consider 1.5" or 1" pipe? Thanks.

Re: Underslung Exhaust Detail
According to what TM Tractor has for sale, the pipe is 1.315 O.D. This is a Case/IH product, made in the US.
I don't think it fits in any of the standard (10,40,80) series pipe. Seems more like a thin wall steel tube material.

Re: Underslung Exhaust Detail
The underslung is tubing not pipe. The vertical is a standard pipe size. I have looked around for muffler shops to bend it and I have not found one local to me that has dies that size to bend it.

Re: Underslung Exhaust Detail
I.5 inch tubing will work and just barely fit...an old school muffler shop will go to 1.5, but not to 1-3/8...
