Wheel Weights from Current Manufacturer?

Postby wesome » Fri Apr 03, 2020 10:23 am

Is anyone aware of rear wheel weights that are currently made by any other manufacturer that will fit a Farmall Cub?

I have never heard of any that are currently made. With the price of wheel weights dropping in some areas, I doubt it would be profitable for anyone to make them.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I don't know if they're still made, but my '50 Farmall Cub had John Deere M rear wheel weights. They're M343T. Here they are on my Cub.

Just for fun I just did some quick math. Front weights fetch a hefty price. You could melt down $50.80 worth of pre 1982 pennies to cast one of your own of the same weight. Rears would not be worth their weight in pennies though.

If your near Virginia, check with S A Fitts 6660 Cascade Rd #2500, Cascade, VA 24069 (434)685-7850 I’ve been down there a few times digging around for parts for my cub and if my memory serves me well I believe I seen wheel weights for farmalls down there.

Thanks folks! I'll check into the JD weights. I'm very close to Virginia, but 4 hours from Cascade.

I discovered that Farmall A wheel weights line up with the holes for a Cub and found those fairly close to me. Now if it will stop raining I can put the 193 plow to work. Thanks again, guys.
