My '48 cub does not have a fast hitch. Is there any drawing, ideas or pictures of a 'rig' that will be comparable to a fast hitch platform carrier?
I am not looking to lift very heavy loads but would like to have to ability to haul some garden soil, brush, firewood etc.

You might also search for a platform carrier made by Kodiak.

I made a poor man's hitch:

and then mounted an ordinary foldable hitch carrier. Since it's a regular 2" hitch you can mount any 2" hitch mount accessory, including a ball hitch and ATV accessories such as a yard rake etc.

I added a small tow bar underneath to make it easy to tow the yard wagon or the mini haywagon without removing the carrier. Take note of the hitch clamp in this photo. I recommend a hitch clamp for any 2"" hitch. It removes that annoying clunking and tightens up any play in the hitch. I use one on all my vehicles.
Even mount a planter.

Re: Platform carrier w/out fast hitch?
I have an original Pittsburg carry lift which was a factory non fast hitch carrier that was built, if I can find pictures of it.

Re: Platform carrier w/out fast hitch?
thanks Radioguy41, this looks nice.
thanks Brandon, would like to see the Pittsburg lift if you find pics
Seems like $500 is the going rate for a fast hitch, not to mention shipping or road trip.
