Thank you for the photo! :{_}: It sure looks the same, and I will send it to the seller to show him what he might be looking for. Appreciate it!! :hattip:

There it is......I've seen something like that at some show, somewhere......

To reply,
I had read an article a while back on the Farm Collector Site. When I saw your post I went looking for it.
Farm Collector, Digging For Peanuts in the 1930's is the Title. The article is from 2006. It's quite the story to read by Bob Harrell and his small museum.
Hope you have time to look at it, and the Farm Collector, There's some stuff on there you just don't see anymore.

Looks like this one has a seat on top...otherwise, quite similar. At least it shows some gearing detail. Thanks.

If you look at the crossbar in your photo you'll see the bolt hole where the seat was attached.

Peanuts dig easier than potatoes. Usually ground is loose and you only go 4 inches or so to lift the nuts.--- I could have made use of that a couple years ago when I grew all them nuts! LOL---Nice unit--see if seller has anything else left that may go to the digger!

Hi Dale. I remebered about an article I read a few years ago on Farm Collector. Title your Looking for is Digging Peanuts in 1930's. Bob Harrel Story on old equipment this gent has collected for a museum. I hope you can find the missing parts in that barn, although sometimes we never know ourselves what we are going to find went we're not looking for it. Good Luck!
