Front Tool Bar: Proper Spacing Of Attachment Bolts
Can anyone tell me the proper spacing between the main attachment bolts on the front universal tool bar? Mine measures 26 3/4 inches but I fear this is too wide.

Re: Front Tool Bar: Proper Spacing Of Attachment Bolts
That is tough to measure because most of the universal mounting frames have enough wear that an actual measurement can change quite a bit with a little pushing or pulling of the frames. You got it pretty close. The manual for the Cub-252 Cultivator says 26 inches even.

Thank you Jim for looking it up. I always seem to forget that the manuals are available on line.

Sometimes it can be a challenge knowing which manual might have a particular bit of information. I don't think you will find that item in a Cub-144 Cultivator manual. But the Cub-252 has a lot more details on settings for multiple rows.

Thanks again! I've been searching through the Cub-144 manuals trying to find out more information.
Were you looking at Illustration 2 in the Cub-252 manual?

Yes. (The same dimension is repeated in 2 through 5.)
