I went out to my barn to start my cub it was nice out. So I went to turn the gas on and I seen blue slime in the bowl. What can that be?

Have you added any additives to the gas, or maybe someone else added something. Do you use non highway gas, that used to have a blue dye in it. To be safe I would drain the fuel system and clean before starting the tractor.

Open up the filler cap and do an inspection of the fuel in the tank.
Could it be possible that the tank was lined to prevent it from rusting and the liner is degrading.
