My 72 has a 65 motor, can I look down a spark plug hole to see if it has the dome?

Re: Pistons
There are little borescope cameras for sale on amazon I have used. Some use your smart phone as the display. The pop up pistons were introduced in 1968 so unless you know it was rebuilt it will not have it
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

I know it was rebuilt, but I don’t know what was done. Mane I can see if I can feel for it with a bent wire

Re: Pistons
the dome on a cub piston is a small "nub" about an inch wide sticking up, pull a plug and crank the engine so that the piston is down in the bore a little and you should be able to see if its a flat top or has the dome on one side
