1961 Farmall CUB - Oil Leak!
I had an oil leak exactly like this. I split my tractor and replaced the main seal. The housing was too big for the seal and would drop in when it needed to press in. I went to the local bearing house showed the seal that I bought for the tractor. The seal was had a plastic housing around the seal which is stock. however I bought a Chicago rawhide seal that had a steel housing around the seal and it pressed in which should not spin or leak. now with all that been said it still leaks I'm going to split the tractor again and see what happened. Maybe the main seal was not the problem.
