I’m trying to figure out what type of headlights my 55 Loboy was originally equipped with, and if they’re available/convertible to a 12v option or even a LED

The 55 had the pancake lights. http://www.tmtractor.com/new/el/2348fp.htm. PAR-36 sealed beam was used.
The Larsen light https://www.larsenlights.com/par-36-led-lights fit inside the housing for 12v neg ground LED. You will have to come up with a grommet and work out the connection the harness

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

Below are pages from the 1957 LoBoy owner's manual, showing the pancake lights.

TM Tractor has the pancake style lights that are 6 volts, shown above.
I have seen them online, made with 12 volt units, for Cubs that have been changed to 12 volt systems.
