Good trip
I went to a flea market (Anything Goes in Boaz, Ky) today with the wife. I picked up a drawbar with a Woods mule drive mounted on it for $20. I would say that was a good trip.
Eight Cubs-finally got a '57.

Most likely true. I bought a complete magneto for a Farmall H for $15 at an antiques store. I'm sure it was something the seller got in a box lot at an auction or garage sale with no knowledge or care of what is was other than it turned a profit.

I once found a Cub 22 pto pulley , in great condition, for $1.50 at a yard sale. I picked up a Cub tachometer, in rough condition, for $5.00 at a flea market. Keep your eyes open, there's no telling what you'll find.

Re: Good trip
I was rummaging through a bunch of stuff on a table at a flea market and came across what looked like a homemade fast hitch pull bar. Seller said he'd take $3.00 for it. Since it didn't look original and I wasn't sure it would fit a fast hitch the seller agreed to take $2.00. I got it home and it fit the fast hitch. A few days later I found out on the forum that it was actually an early style factory pull bar.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Good trip
My wife was out garage saleing one day and found a Cub Cadet. I ask her what model it was and she didn’t know. Went around the block to check. It was a 149 kind of rough w/mower deck, snow blade and chains w/2 sets of weights on the rear. Got it for $200.00 I figure I bought the weights and the rest was free.

Re: Good trip
Feller posted a plow for sale on CL for $75. Looking at the pics, I saw that it was a Cub 16 middlebuster. Only problem was it was over in LA and I didn’t have the time to go get it. Gave Harold a call and he happened to be home! He picked it up for me. One of my better buys. Other than the rust, was in really good shape

Re: Good trip
I was at a flea market and ran across a box of odds and ends, mostly pure junk. The box was labeled something like 25 or 50 cents per item. I spotted a piece of a tear-drop style headlight. After fishing it out, I found the entire disassembled light was in there. I had to buy 4 or 5 pieces to get the whole thing.
