Orginal 1948 Cub

Postby BSR » Sun May 26, 2019 10:20 am

I went to this auction sale yesterday with intent to buy Cub implements, and there it was a 1948 Cub with orginal paint and decals. Bidding stopped at 1000. And my hand came out of my pocket and got it for the next bid. It's nice to see that there are some older ORGINAL Cubs still out there.

Ps I did come home with 5 Cub implements also

Nice score! Is that a Mott mower? It looks just like the Mott I bought 30 years ago with a AC C tractor. Congrats on the haul.

Thanks John P. But I think I did the best on the 5 impelments, I paid less then 1/2 for them then I did for the Cub.and they are in excellent condition.
The Grass board for the sickle bar I dont think was ever mounted. Just goes to show that there still are GREAT DEALS at auction sales.
