Things getting interesting with the parts tractor

Postby inairam » Sat Jan 12, 2019 4:49 pm

Last spring I picked up a parts tractor the PO really wanted to get rid of viewtopic.php?f=1&t=100928&hilit=cracked

I know a few people wanted me to get it running to see how it drove with the front end mod that was done. Well the radiator leaks and I stated needing parts and it is continuing to be the original plan as parts tractors.

Well I needed the turf tires for my snow plow tractor with chains and I stilled wanted to be able to roll it so I found 4 of this 5x4.5 lug tires locally. The tread will not pass inspection in PA and the owner person was selling the tires and wheels 4 miles away. Wheels are aluminum so they are not hard to move around. I figured If they go flat the side walls will keep the finals out of the mud. They clear the finals and fender!! :D

Like the look. May have to try them on a runner

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

That ship has sailed. I know of one in Indiana built a good 10 years ago.
