59 mower on lowboy

Postby brichter » Mon Sep 17, 2018 7:35 pm

I have a woods 59 mower and I want to mount it on a lowboy. I have the rear mounting plates but I keep reading about the loboy mule drive. Will the regular cub mule drive not work? What else would i need?

BR, If you go to "McCormick-Deering Implement and Attachment Manuals" and click on Woods, you can find several pictures of the mule drive in the manuals.

I used a Pennington that mounts on the rear of the pto for my 57 LoBoy. Had to fab the brackets for attaching the mower to the finals.

Just a guesss but I would think a Loboy mule drive would be a lot shorter than a F Cub mule drive on account of the F Cub is higher off the ground.
