We don’t discriminate here, we have 2 Cubs, a 140, a John Deere, a Ford and a Schramm!

To be honest I grew up on a Johnny Popper but love the engineering of cultivission and will always believe that without the A there never would have been a cub and that design behind both Cubs and A-140's was the best thing since sliced bread. But it was the A's idea of hydraulics lift that made it way before it's time and Cubs followed. They both are great and an idea from over 80 years ago is still the best tractor to small farmers in almost anywhere on Earth. Both had updates on them as technologies evolved. Just because touch control was invented and A became Super A and IH started a new serial # but not on Cubs is unfair and look at it from an engineer's eyes or IH's research and development and you would see that the A is was and always will be the winner and Cubs were basically a baby A and both of them have advantages and shortcomings. But from original thought till end of it's production the A-140 Farmall's made cultivission type tractor.

Vastly different. The TE20 was a fairly decent tractor.

LOL, agreed. But it looks just like an 8n. The more I learned about Ford and Edison the more I can't stand them. They stole, cheated and backed ppl like Hitler. Most ppl think they were great men, I say they were crooks that were too big to fail.

One of the things I dislike about Ford (besides the probable Nazi sympathizing) was how he tried to convince the government during WWII to essentially give him a monopoly on tractor production to build those POS N series.
