Well due to uncertain weather, going to do wood working today, going to cut out new board and hopefully make a new pitman, have a question on the grass board rod....Does it look bent properly? Owners manual has it looking kind of like this, but a lot of pictures I'm seeing, it has a wave to it. Did they make them both ways?.
Going with oak for the board, I know a lot use a lighter wood, doing it for the wood grain since I'm going to clear coat it... Have a cool idea to do with it I'll share when I'm done

Re: new grassboard
Straight it will be thanks! question is the tip of that rod bent inwards towards the tractor when mounted? One I have is bent slightly outwards

Re: new grassboard
The tip bends inwards so the cut grass will fall back towards the tractor.

Re: new grassboard
New grass board cut.. Not 100% exact but close, would have been easier if I had a band saw, but made it with jigsaw, sander and router, now just have to give few coats tung oil
