Productive Weekend in the Shop!

Postby xraycajun » Mon Aug 06, 2018 11:42 am

I started Saturday morning with an empty block on the shop floor and finished Sunday afternoon with a mostly assembled tractor! Well, I at least got the crank in (plastigauged showed .002 on all three mains! Clutch back on, Engine onto the bell housing, then front end to engine!

That's what I call progress! It's amazing how fast things will move if you have a little time to devote to things!
If you own 1 tractor you have a interest
If you own 2 tractors you have a hobby
If you own 3 tractors you have an addiction
Anything over that..well your incurable!

The squeaky wheel may get the grease but it's usually the first to be replaced!

The hardest part is doing the restoration in one half of a garage. I can't take apart the entire tractor... I have to do it on component at a time. Takes a lot of patience and forethought.
