Re: Pictures
I use an app on my iPhone called “image resize +” I resize them to 20% then save that picture. When you come here click on “full editor & preview” then click “add files”. They have to be smaller than what an iPhone or iPad saves them as originally. Whichever picture you want on the bottom add it first and the one you want on top add it last.
Every home is a school, what are you teaching?

Re: Pictures
It's best to have the pictures you want to upload already reduced in size before trying to post them. They need to be no bigger than 500kb.
I'll describe the process using an iPhone SE, but it should (hopefully) be similar on your iPad:
Hope this helps. Let us know if you want further explanation.
I'll describe the process using an iPhone SE, but it should (hopefully) be similar on your iPad:
- Open the page on the Forum where you will create the post.
- Write whatever description or text in the main "Topic Review" box.
- Next, go down below the text box and you'll see two tabs: "Options" and "Attachments"; select "Attachments".
- Click on the "Add Files" button and an iPhone menu (at least on my phone) comes up from the bottom of the screen with 3 options:
- "Take Photo or Video"
- "Photo Library"
- "Browse"
- Select, say, "Photo Library", since you should have already resized the image and it's on your iPad. Your iPad should direct you to your photo library where you can search and select the resized picture you want. Select one.
- Once the forum size requirements are met for that photo, an extended box will show up below the "Add Files" button. It will list your photo's file name, 2 buttons ("Place inline" and "Delete file"), and a "File comment:" box. If you type a brief description in the "File comment" box, it will show up in your post directly underneath your photo in italicized font. If you want a description or caption associated with the picture, then use this feature, otherwise, you can describe the photo in the main body of your post. If I recall, you may attach up to 6 photos in this manner, one at a time.
- Once you have attached all the photos, you have a choice to either place them in-line or dispersed amongst your text in the post, or just leave all the photos to come up at the end of your text. If you have multiple pictures to post, they will be lodged below the main screen in reverse order. Like Shane mentioned above, if you have 3 pictures and want them to show up in the order you uploaded them, the first pic will be at the very bottom of the list. So, you'd just select that one first ("Place inline" button), then the next one up and so on.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you want further explanation.

Re: Pictures
Bernard,
I’ll try this from my iPhone:
This pic is up in the body of my text by using the “Place inline” button:
If I didn’t use that button on the second pic, it shows up at the end of all the text. Note, it has a white box outline with “Attachments” written above it.

Re: Pictures
Great advice from Stanton, now all I need is a step by step guide on how to downsize the pics from my iPad photo gallery and I might be able to proceed from there as I said I’m a complete novice on the iPad, but willing to learn ,

Re: Pictures
I use the APP ResizerPro.
Download the APP
Open the APP
Select the + sign on the screen--This takes me to all the photos on my IPHONE
Select a Photo
Select Resize
Select New Image Size--If you select the first block the second one will auto fill to keep same dimensions--I usually use 1200 but sometimes I have to go to 800 or it will still be too big.
Select Done
Select down Arrow on screen
Select Save Image
Select ok and it will be saved in same file as original photo
Hope it works for you.

Re: Pictures
Evening Bernard,
The easiest way I've found to downsize photos on an iPad is to email them from myself, to myself.
When I press send it gives me three choices on size.
Choose the smallest.
When you've made your selection send the email and retrieve and save the smaller image.
Regards, David
