Do you have a magneto or battery ignition on your Cub? Does it run? Can you rent a timing light from a local auto repair parts seller?

It's easier to time a magneto than it is to change the oil! Just follow the advice posted above.

I had a shade tree saboteur [locals know him as the Scam Man] help with a coil [duh,my first time in distributor/ moved rotor 1 tooth off, opened plug gaps to ~1/4", had me looking for new wires,plugs,gas...made carb float valve leak...changed mixture...had to rebuild carb.
anyway, I think I found out everything he did and straightened it out.
Will get to it...should run fine.
...but it would be good to know a pro.
tnx

But being a welder/mechanic for over 20 years has tought me a thing or three .... :) Anyhow if yha need something just let me know

I have the ultimate woodstove. designed and built by an old welder on the Polaris submarines.Need the item on cad-cam so it can be sized to order and then specs sent to steelyard for cut&fit. He would buy all pre-cut steel strapped on a pallet for $94.00 weld it up in a day and sell for $800.
