While searching the forum for ideas on shovels for my 144 (I'm always experimenting), I decided to post a couple tips that have helped me over the years both the two row that I had on my H and the 144 now that I've downsized.
Ideally I'd have a concrete floor I could draw lines on, (one manual I picked up suggested using an abandoned air strip), but I lay a board on the drive to represent the row or rows. On my Cub I stretch a mason line between the split in the front axle and a draw pin in the center hole of the draw bar. Center the board on that on just measure from the string.
I've also found that manuals for other model/makes of the different implements can contain helpful info that's not always in the one for the implement I have.
Hopefully this may help some new guy starting out.
John
