Electrical help

Postby Ken (48 Cub) » Tue May 29, 2018 6:46 pm

I don't remember where these two wires connect on the generator, post A or B.

The larger wire on the left connects to the bottom of the VR.

the regulator terminals should be stamped, F for field, if you scrape the paint around the generator terminals they are stamped A & F, F is Field, so the other one is now easy

The terminal on the VR the is alone on one side is A.

A on the generator on mine is usually closer to the pulley

I bought a book of electrical number labels an always use them to keep things in order
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!
