Long Stripe Front Wheel Color

Hi Guys,

What color were the front wheels when the Square Nose was painted Red at the factory? I've looked at lots of pics, both here and online, and some have white front rims and some have red front rims. The manual only shows the white/yellow version, which had white wheels. So which is it for the red tractors.........white or red front rims? Or did it change by year? Mine is a '76.

Oh, my rears appear to be un-repainted and are RED. I assume that's correct.

Since you asked about the Front Wheel Color, I'll chime in. Mine on my 1977 were factory red front wheels. I've seen folks paint them white, and the front wheels on yellow/white Cubs were painted white, but I know that my 1977 had not ever been repainted, and the front wheels were red.
