OK, I think I understand now....
Looked at the posted wiring diagram - the differences between this diagram and my wiring is:

Gen F goes to 4 pos switch in diagram
My Gen F goes to the relay screw

Nothing is attached to Relay F in diagram
Mine is Relay F to 4 position switch

Therefore, the gen and bat terminals/wiring as shown in the diagram is the same as on my Cub. So I think I should be good to go in jumpering the left relay terminal (bat in diagram) to the right front terminal (gen in diagram). First, I will still try to find the labeling in the tractor, but in lieu of that, I'm gonna go with the above.
Rudi, that how-to would be great!
