The old battery for my 74' gave up the ghost. Been shopping around at Interstate Store, TSC and Farmers Coop. Got one at Walmart this morning. It is a 26 Series refurbished with one year warranty for $49.88. Saved $30-50

After a tip from Boss Hog I bought a pair for my Cub and my A. That was over two years ago and they’re still doing what they should. I also bout a $20 battery for my lawn tractor as well at that time. No problems there either. How can you go wrong?

I didn’t know Walley World had refurb.batterys but I am going to check it. I need a couple for my cub and big tractor. Thanks for the lnfo.

I know I'm digging up an old thread. Those are not refurbished batteries there new. I have one in a tractor , not a Cub that I bought in 2016. Still going strong. I looked recently those batteries are now $55. I think they slightly changed the name. While only a 1 year free replacement battery they were still priced well below market price. Not sure if they had to increase price or just started lower it get attention and people to useing it and then went up. Batteries went sky high like 5 years ago or maybe a bit longer and stayed there.

A few years ago you could buy "refurbished" batteries at a good price.
I doubt they were nothing more than returned batteries that were recharged.
