I’ve had my low boy over thirty years it’s still work in progress I had it looking real pretty rather quickly but 25 years later it’s ugly again , I scored an F-Cub for 250 dollars and basically in 3 and 1/2 months I got it running nicely and paint and decals it looked sharp I promptly sold it , I got the F Cub done fast because I really wanted to flip it for something else my low boy is a forever thing .

I did not rescue a 49 Cub from a old barn. It was purchased at an auction as a non runner. I bought it the 4th of March and had it running and driving in a little over 2 months. I rebuilt a JD A that took me a little over 8 years. I am retired so I have more time to work on tractors now.

Well - exhaust and manifold are painted with a heat resistant silver paint.
The tractor is situated below a 3.000 lm LED light fixture, so light and photo direction is deceiving.

Daylight and outside may give a more correct impression.

And yes - she is gender to look at, but it does not free her from hard work :)

Edit: Type error correction.
