Good morning all!
My 1949 CUB was pulled from a collapsed corn crib, several decades ago. It took chainsaws, cables and another tractor to free it from the over-grown farmstead !
As I sorted through the clutter, I found more and more implements and assorted pieces related to them. The part shown below, tied to the Rear Rockshaft with baling wire, I simply installed where it looked like it went…
Searched through the Manuals Section, older posts, and came-up empty ?
Time to tap into the knowledge base of my fellow members !

Re: What is this part ?
It’s called a Master Control Lever. Look it up in the PDF Manuals section, under Farmall Cub/Implement Parts Manuals.

Re: What is this part ?
it is used to manually pick up implements mounted on the rear of the cub, not a lot of them out there as it updated by one that works for hydraulics , mostly early cubs

Re: What is this part ?
THANKS Tim
It wasn’t making sense as 90633 came with Touch Control ? Remnants of blue paint on it; the shape not quite like the images I’d found; only the one bolt hole for mounting ?
I’m thinking I’ll just let it “ride” there for the time being ! Someone might also be pickin’ through the weeds and briars, end up without it; good opportunity to… “pass it on down”

It’s the Master Control Lever, under CBI-1, Common Units.

Re: What is this part ?
Hi,
I think the part in your picture is part of the Cub 189 Plow lift mechanism.
It is bolted on top of the rear rockshaft. Your rear rockshaft is for a Cub with Touch Control, I think.
The Cub 189 Plow has 2 bottoms, a left hand, and a right hand bottom.
Below is a page from the Cub 189 Plow owner's manual, it looks like the part is number 7 in the pic.
https://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.cle ... e%2018.jpg
Below is the whole manual, you can look at the pics, it has lots of info.
https://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.cle ... index.html
Page 10 shows the rear lift for the Touch Control. Page 11 shows the rear lift for Cubs without Touch Control.
Maybe the plow was there somewhere in the past, with the things you talked about above.
I'm not an expert on the Cub 189 Plow, I could be wrong, maybe Jim B. will comment.
A picture from not so close would let us see which rear lift it has.

Re: What is this part ?
Agree, a different picture would help. I thought Don had it id'ed until I read Glen's post. I now think Glen has it, a part of a Cub-189 plow.

Re: What is this part ?
A’yup… Glen hit one “outta the ballpark”
Page 200, CUB-189 Plow, Part 7, is it: 512 300 R91 Support !
90633 does have Touch Control, too.
I have the 189 Plow set-up and started working my way towards making it functional. I feel fortunate to have found the 513 988 R2 set of Lift Chain Brackets are in the “bushel basket” of iron I gathered at the time
The Depth Adjustment Lever is done and FASTENAL had the perfect Clevis Pins and Cotters for the links; the “eye” bolts that the Links engage, were in the Draw Bar already. What a great puzzle to put together !

Thank you !
