Keep in mind that implements that fit an F-Cub have shorter mounting brackets or are all together different from what fit a Lo-Boy.
And take it from a Lo-Boy owner, those implements are in shorter supply that what you will find for an F-Cub. Even the drawbar mounting brackets are different.

Re: Convert to lo-boy?
Cheaper and less labor intensive to just purchase a complete parts low-boy, and then rebuild it.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Convert to lo-boy?
No they do not. The bolt hole locations on the finals are different. The bracket for the draw bars are different. Many mowers and other attachments have separate PNs for the mounts for the Loboy vs the Cub. You have to look at all of your attachments and see what else you need before you make the switch.
Here is a mod I made with loboy brackets on a Cub If you look closely you can see I had to redrill the hole

Why for you want to do this? I agree with Eugene, If you want a loboy you are better off starting out with a loboy

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

Re: Convert to lo-boy?
There is a lot more to converting one than a front axle and final drives. There are also fender brackets, drawbar brackets, maybe seat, maybe shift lever, possibly other stuff. If you have a Fast-Hitch, most parts are different.

I don't know if you have to change the seat but the lo-boy does have a fixed seat mount without the spring and it's a rough ride.
The shifter is bent forward, and the fenders are different, lower I believe but also more forward as the axles are mounted forward. The Lo-Boy has a shorter wheel base because of this.
TM tractor sells the drawbar mounts for both tractors so you can look that up and compare. For that matter they provide photos in great detail of the comparison of FCub and Lo-Boy implements.
With the axles positioned forward the Lo-Boy drawbar mounts are about a foot long to position the drawbar back where it should be or it'd be under the tractor.
As for using F Cub implements just hanging lower on a Lo-Boy, oh it will, it'll carve the dirt!
Honestly it all just sounds like a great excuse for you to buy that second tractor.
