yeah, definitely a rare piece. Would be something to take to shows.....especially Red Power Roundup this next year in MO.

You'd sure be the winner at a show if they hosted a "slow race". You'd also win the prize for rarest Cub or most unique.

For slow it's tough to beat the trencher Lo Boy, can hardly see it move. That has gear reduction on the front of the tranny made by Auburn. Any speed reduction for Cub is rare and valuable, but it's major to have it 'factory'.

I have a "hydra-creeper" for a Farmall super A that I never installed.That would make a cub super slow feeding into that engine speed pto.Guess I should think about that a bit.Would need a hyd remote and a pto reducer for starters.Some of our shows have slow races

Yeah, I bet that trencher Cub is slow. We have one of those that runs real good but was "converted" back to a regular LoBoy because the PO broke the original torque tube and bent the driveshaft somehow (I have both original parts). With the driveshaft being a little bit longer (about 4 in.), we will have to have one made to get it back like it should be. It runs and drives real nice, but I want to restore it and get it back as the Trencher Cub. I have all of the parts (haven't checked but it looks like it) to get it all back togther. Just the boom, chain, auger, and creeper are removed. It deserves to be restored and taken to shows, plain and simple.
