Midwest Snow Storm of Feb 2013

Stanton

Kansas City received about 10"-12" of snow on Thursday (nothing close to what NE received a couple weeks ago). Here are some pics of snow we received and getting a little seat time.

Took all afternoon to get my drive and 3 of my neighbor's done. Then we received more snow that evening, so on Friday, I cleaned those up again and did 2 additional driveways. Nellie performed flawlessly. Had a blast!

Hope you enjoyed the seat time, Stanton! That storm dumped freezing rain over here. (would have rather had the snow)
Take care!
Regards, Stan

All hype here! Didn't even cover the grass - Had the blade ready to go, wasn't worth starting the tractor! Dusty B

Stanton- You did not come get my driveway. That was an all day job. I did enjoy it though. See you in May went I get it cleared.
We also got the 10-11 inches, 1 1/2 miles north at New Strawn they got 14.

The 7-8" we got = .40". Takes a lot of snow to = an inch. Will take it all and hope it all soaks in.

Stanton, We got about 5" last night, with about the same predicted for today. I finally went out and mounted the blade. If this storm comes your way, you may wish you had the snow extension on the top of your blade. :D

I was thinkng of you as I watched the weather forecast last evening--hoping you were getting some of this (for moisture sake, not inconvenience :)). Since the low is tracking much further south then the one last Thursday, they're predicting heavy snow overnight here (12"-16").

I believe it; your drive would take all day. These late season snows should make us appreciate Spring all the more! Was thinking I'll need to clear snow to plant potatoes on the 17th (traditional planting day for tators).

We had about 3 inches of sleet, my farm 25 miles north had 6 inches pure snow. They are saying we are going to get about 9 inches today and tonight.
